New Door Patterns

Background
The design range of interior doors is narrow compared to the design of
entrance doors. This opens up a market for a more creative door
design.
There is presumably a great potential in combining new patterns with
other materials like e.g. Laminate.
The Swedish architect Ola Torrång has during the last years created a
Portfolio with
about 30 main patterns plus variations.
This web site is created in order to allow selected door manufacturers as well as
laminate producers to download examples of the patterns for evaluation on a non-disclosure bases.
If the manufacturer/producer wishes to view all patterns, together over 100 including variations of the main patterns, a Non-disclosure agreement paper form has to signed by both parties.

By downloading a pattern the down loader agrees to be bound to the non-disclosure agreement below:
Non-disclosure Agreement
§1 Parties
The down loader hereafter called the ”Recipient”
and

Hereafter called the “Discloser”
§2 Object Definition
The Discloser is the owner of confidential information in the form of Design Patterns, hereafter called ”Patterns”. The Patterns are protected by Copyrights. Included in the definition of ”Patterns” are variations of the Patterns in colour and seize. The Discloser is also the owner of confidential Know-How about the applications of the Patterns for doors. All disclosed information, transferred in any form, about the Patterns and Know-How is hereafter called ”Information”. Information disclosed to the Recipient is the property of the Discloser.
§3 Purpose
The purpose for downloading the Pattern is to enable the Recipient to evaluate the commercial potential of the Information.
§4 Obligations
The Recipient is obliged:
a) not to use the Information for any purpose except the Purpose mentioned above.
b) to keep the Information secure and not to disclose it to any third party, except to its employees, who need to know for the same Purpose, who know they owe a duty of confidence to the Discloser and who are bound by the obligations equivalent to those of the Recipient
The Recipient declares not to at any point claim right of property over any ideas, inventions, or other products, which the Recipient may become aware of through his work with or for the Discloser. This also includes any new patterns or products that may be developed as a result of the Recipient’s work on the Information. Anything created or performed by the Recipient in violation to prior said shall be the sole property of the Discloser.
What is stated under §4 does not apply to patterns or know-how that provably are already known to the Recipient or provably are in or come into the public domain in anyway without breach of this agreement by the Recipient or its employees.This Agreement and all matters relating hereto shall be governed by Swedish law.
§5 Time limit
The Recipient shall, not later than the 25th of July 2012, inform the Discloser whether the Recipient is interested in commercial use of the Information by signing a License Agreement.
If such an agreement is not signed by both Parties by the 1st of September 2012 the Recipient shall not later than 10 days thereafter destroy/erase all Information in any form including digital form.
§6 Remedies
Recipient breaching this agreement causing the Discloser serious harm or damage is liable for any losses occurring and shall pay the actual damage to the Discloser, the minimum being €1500.
By downloading the Pattern the Recipient agrees to be bound to this Non-disclosure agreement.
